Kelly's Review of Loom
Here’s a basic overview of why I love using LOOM for my business!
When starting my business there were a few things I knew I would struggle with when being able to describe to clients via email. As a designer and a creative, it’s easy to talk things through and have the ability to visually show a change or a simple program use etc.
Website: After working with clients on their website I always make sure they know that we are here for ongoing updates and additions but I also want to make sure they are capable to make small updates on their own. So when clients ask me specific questions about Squarespace I find it super helpful to be able to login and film a shot video of my screen showing them where they can find what they are looking for or how they can make that edit or addition on their own.
Branding: When designing a brand everything we do is for a reason. We make sure we cover all this in our presentation but sometimes there are follow up questions that we need to cover. This is time I love to use Loom, I can open up our presentation and actively describe and point to certain areas that a client is inquiring about.
Questions: Personally I can answer questions so much easier via phone or verbally, enter Loom. Even if I’m not sharing a screen I can still talk through a quick answer that a clicked is asking with more clarity and better communication.
