Top 5 Small Business Apps that I couldn't live without!
These are my 5 favourite all-star apps/programs that I use daily to run my business more efficiently!
1.Grammarly
Those that know me, know I am terrible at spelling and usually quick to send an email or note without proofreading. It’s not something I’m proud of it is the truth :) Grammarly saves me daily, it is a program that you can install on your computer and browser that basically runs as spellcheck in everything you do. The membership is FREE for limited features or you can upgrade for a premium package.
2. Boomerang for Gmail
Boomerang Chrome Extension for Gmail is my new favourite find. If emails come in that are simple questions and I happen to be in my email I like to take action on them right away. This can sometimes set the precedent that I am always going to respond immediately when a client reaches out with a quick question. Boomerang allows you to respond to the email but set a time using the app that will auto send the email either in a couple of hours of at the end of the day. You can download the extension here!
3. Planoly
Creating content for social media can be a full-time job, we all know how time-consuming it can be. I usually like to dedicate 1 day or a few hours a week to batch content for the following week. I can then upload graphics to Planoly and schedule them to be posted at certain times. Planoly also lets you show tiles around so that you can plan out how your grid will look. Try it out!
4. Dropbox
Dropbox is something we are all familiar with but I think it deserves a shout-out for continuing to do an amazing job! I have a full dropbox folder for each client. I keep everything that is sent out to clients here so that I am not bogging their inbox down with large files. This also keeps me from having to resend files multiple times to clients when they have misplaced the email with the attachment. If you arent utilizing dropbox for your business I highly recommend it.

Bonsai is the client management software I use to run my business daily. It creates my proposals, sends my contracts and keeps my invoices and payments all in check.
